LACR 224 - SIFT: Love and Death In this course, students explore various aspects of love and death. The course integrates historical, philosophical, artistic, cultural, and scientific approaches in a multidisciplinary study. Students will engage in readings, discussions, and projects as they explore evidence, rituals, and records concerning the ideas of love, romantic love, sexuality, death, and afterlife.
Prerequisites & Notes Student must have entered after Fall 2005. Enrollment in BS, BFA, or BM degree program required. Successful completion of LACR 009 or LACR 100 where required as a result of English placement exam.
Credits: 3 cr, 3 hrs
