LALL 815 - Romanticism A study of the Romantic movement in England, including the major poets (Blake, Wordsworth, Coleridge, Byron, Shelley, and Keats), several novelists (including Bronte’s Wuthering Heights and Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein), samplings from the letters and essays. Some of the predominant Romantic themes – the artist as outcast, revolution, man’s relation to nature – are addressed. Formerly HU 317A
