MUCP 631 - Graduate Arranging Emphasis is on effective writing in various contemporary styles and building on basic arranging skills, with a focus on specific arranging techniques such as writing for the rhythm section, horn voicings, sax solo, and contemporary fusion styles. Arrangements are studied in score format and aurally, and then techniques are applied to student projects. Formerly MU 622
