Description

Courses within the minor are offered to all students with an interest in understanding music, increasing aural skills, and exploring the jazz and contemporary music styles, which form the core of the School of Music.  These courses do not require performance skills, but offer students interested in music the opportunity to study with School of Music faculty, experience and attend performances at the School of Music and other renowned Philadelphia music venues, and gain a greater understanding of the creativity and innovations of musicians.  Students who wish to focus in music may elect to take all five courses; comprising a music minor.

Program Requirements (15 credits)
