LAPI 937 - The Jazz Age

This course explores The Jazz Age, the years immediately following World War I. Topics include The Roaring 20’s, The Jazz Age, Race in New Orleans, The Harlem Renaissance, The Literature of the Period, and The Stock Market Crash of 1929. Course materials include music, pictiom, historical documents, and essays om cultural history.

Prerequisites & Notes
Prerequisites: LACR 102 and LACR 210.

Student must have completed the second semester of their Sophomore year (45 credits).
