LALL 852 - Modern Drama

A study of the modern theater from the end of the 19th century to the mid-20th century. Students read some of the world’s most famous playwrights: Ibsen, Strindberg, Chekhov, Shaw, Pirandello, Lorca, Brecht, and Beckett. Theater trips are part of the experience of this course. Formerly HU 315A
