FNDP 112 - Drawing

Building on the sensibilities, skills, and information of FNDP 111, students refine their perceptual abilities, utilize a wider range of media, and develop additional drawing strategies. Students study complex natural and organic form, including the human figure in both line and tone. Controlling proportion, building volume, engaging the illusion of space, while at the same time developing the desired quality of light and illumination are issues explored in this semester. Faculty bring skills, projects, and information developed in the two- and three-dimensional classes into the service of drawing. Formerly FP 111
