LAPR 812 - Introduction to Chinese Philosophy Basic principles in Chinese philosophy, particularly Daoism and Confucianism. Students examine the philosophical texts such as the Doa De Jing, the Zhuangzi, and the Analects, working from primary sources. In the process, students gain an understanding of Chinese thinking in metaphysics, ethics, and other areas of philosophy.
