LALL 852 - Modern Drama A study of the modern theater from the end of the nineteenth century to the mid-twentieth century. Students read some of the world’s most famous playwrights: Ibsen, Strindberg, Chekhov, Shaw, Pirandello, Lorca, Brecht, and Beckett. Theater trips are part of the experience of this course.
