CMMC 460 - Current Issues in Communication Explores the changing landscape of ethical and policy issues in communication from a critical and intellectual perspective, with a focus on emerging issues driven by the shift to digital media (image ethics and manipulation, intellectual property, changing nature of distribution, etc.). Building on previous coursework and studio experiences, students read material from current literature and write reflective and research-based papers on selected issues. Guest speakers in the various industries and independent sectors provide a real-world perspective on how these issues affect professional practice. Formerly CM 435
