CRFT 161 - Freshman Furniture and Wood The introduction of wood as a material, basic joinery theory, and the ability to manipulate safely with both hand and power tools. Lecture on and demonstration of the properties of wood and the proper use of the band saw and shaping tools, including rasps, chisels, small hand planes, and gouges. Formerly CR 161
Prerequisites & Notes Priority enrollment to Foundation majors. Student must NOT have completed the second semester of their Sophomore year (45 credits). Restricted to Undergraduate students only.
