AEDU 799 Teaching Internship

700 level graduate course

This course is a supervised classroom teaching experience for active art teachers enrolled in the Teaching Intern Certification Program and includes monthly observations by a university supervisor, in accordance with requirements from the Pennsylvania Department of Education. The Teaching Internship provides opportunities to apply the principles and theories learned from the program to actual practice in the classroom. This course must be repeated at least once to meet the minimum requirement of monthly teaching observations for the first year in the Teacher Inter Certification Program.

Corequisite Course(s): AEDU*502 or AEDU*512

Open to Art Education majors and concentrations only.
This course may be completed 2 times for credit.
This course requires permission by the offering department.
