MUSC 10001 Fundamentals of Music Composition

In this course, students will focus on the rudiments of musical composition. Students will investigate the evolution of harmony, melody, rhythm, orchestration, and arranging in a variety of genres, and learn how they can apply these to their own work in order to expand their compositional palette. They will also learn aspects of music notation.
