Students will learn both the creative possibilities and best technical practices of nonlinear editing in Adobe Premiere Pro, the industry-preferred platform. Topics covered include: Continuity and non-continuity editing - learn how editing has evolved over the history of cinema and how once experimental techniques found their way into mainstream cinema and television; Using Adobe Premiere Pro - learn the technical aspects of working with nonlinear editing software including project organization and media management; Post-production color and effects - learn the basics of color grading and correction.
