PSYC 201 Child & Adolescent Psychology
3 credits 45.0 hours 200 level undergraduate course
Developmentally oriented, this course focuses on psychosocial stages of human life from birth through adolescence. Important topics will include the physical, cognitive, and social development of child and adolescent populations and their impacts on the whole person. Family life and social relationships also will be central to our examinations of these topics, which we will explore through the lens of our own experiences, historical references, and contemporary examples.
Priority enrollment for students with Art Therapy Concentration
or for students pursuing the Five year BFA/MAT program. This course is not repeatable for credit. This course can fulfill a critical studies elective or general elective requirement.
