PSYC 302 Perspectives on Psychological Diversity

3 credits 45.0 hours
300 level undergraduate course

How does culture shape understandings of psychological experiences? How can investigating psychological diversity advance approaches to wellness and create new opportunities for supportive treatments? We will examine these questions and others by exploring perspectives on neurodiversity, neurological functioning, and the spectrum of diverse human psychological experience across the lifespan. As we contextualize these perspectives, case studies will drive our engagement with essential research skills.
