THPD 264 Technical Direction

This is a studio course which focuses on projects investigating the role of the technical director in theatrical production, including production scheduling, coordinating, planning, budgeting, familiarity with materials, equipment and purchasing procedures. Students build skills in drafting and construction and are introduced to rigging and engineering basics.

Priority enrollment for Film Design and Theater Design majors.
