ETEC 601 Integrating Educational Technology Into Student Assessment

Educators in today’s 21st Century learning environments find themselves faced with the challenge of ensuring that every student reaches proficiency in all core subject areas. One of the key factors that play a role in reaching this goal is the ability to gain and maintain student engagement. With the increased interest and reliance on technology among students, the ability to use technology as a learning and evaluation tool is becoming an important part of an educator’s arsenal. Integrating Educational Technology into Student Assessment prepares teachers to infuse technology into the curriculum in ways that combine learning and assessment. This course will enable educators to successfully identify and facilitate the integration of an effective educational technology program and to understand how to use educational technology to assess multiple aspects of student achievement.
